Acupuncture  

Acupuncture is an ancient Chinese method of healing that is used to correct imbalances and blockages of the body’s energy. These imbalances and blockages may eventually lead to symptom's or illness. Actually, in most cases, illnesses manifest energetically before they will show up symptomatically. Western science is now proving that the whole body is electrically charged. This "energy" is really what westerners call the body’s natural electricity. Normally this electricity should be able to flow freely throughout the body. Sometimes this electricity is unable to flow properly for proper function. Acupuncture is the restoration of balance in the electrical flow of the body. Picture a stagnant farm pond vs. a free flowing mountain stream; ease of flow allows proper health. If the energy that helps regulate our body's health and wellbeing is flowing properly, pain and dysfunction are much less likely.

At our office we use gentle microcurrent to correct these imbalances. We measure the percentage of electrical resistance before and after each treatment,  assessing the changes that are taking place in real time. We rarely need to use needles as microcurrent is tremendously effective. This intensity of electrical current closely matches your body’s natural electrical levels and therefore is best suited to work therapeutically in the human body.
